Those smart guys at NASA says that we'll never reach the stars
At a recent conference, rocket scientists from NASA, the U.S. Air Force and academia doused humanity's interstellar dreams in cold reality. The scientists, presenting at the Joint Propulsion Conference in Hartford, Connecticut, analyzed many of the designs for advanced propulsion that others have proposed for interstellar travel. The calculations show that, even using the most theoretical of technologies, reaching the nearest star in a human lifetime is nearly impossible.Dang! There goes my dream of visiting Coruscant and moons of Endor!

Jika saya bilang bahwa tema dari post ini adalah "Apakah kita sudah merdeka?" mungkin sangat klise sekali dan sudah cukup membosankan untuk disimak. Namun, saya tidak akan pernah bosan mempertanyakan hal ini kepada diri saya sendiri. Kita sudah merdeka dari penjajahan selama 63 tahun berturut-turut, tapi pada kenyataannya dalam sejumlah ruang, kita belum merdeka, atau paling tidak sebagian besar dari kita belum merdeka. Kemiskinan, akses kesehatan, akses pendidikan, kesetaraan, dan sejumlah permasalahan lain membuat kita menjadi bertanya pada diri sendiri, "merdeka itu apa?"

Trivium post another artwork for their new single depicting some sort of centaur warrior decapitating his enemies. Cool. So what's up with the Japanese theme, Triv? We'll I really don't care actually. I'm so going to buy their long-awaited fourth album! Can't wait until September!

Everyday I get in touch with "top" program in Linux. So I'm excited to see this top-like Reddit website viewer via console. It had a "top" user interface for a reading news from Reddit. Reddit itself is a digg-style social news site that became one of the sites that I enjoy for this past year.
Reddit Top was actually derived from Hacker Top. Hacker Top was made in such a manner that it required me just to write a new parser for Reddit to create the new program. The program is written in Python programming language and uses ncurses interface for displaying the stories.Can't wait to try it in my Powerbook!
