Here’s the thing…
Hi, I’m Patrick Gerard van Diest. People called me Pat. Just Pat. I’m a twenty-something geek technology enthusiast lived in Jakarta, Indonesia. Well, if you happen to bump in here, well this is my so-called blog. I write every ordinary thing that I see and have my take on that subject.
Why did I do this? Well, rather than keep a mind note to myself (which I would probably forget the next week) I chose to write and archive it on the Internet. I don’t know, probably it would be awesome when one day in the future, I look back and take a look of my past self and laugh out about it. It should be fun.
Meanwhile, if you still want to know about me that is just fine. Nowadays I work as a tech journalist/web developer/system administrator in an Indonesian tech magazine called CHIP. It’s definitely fun working in there.
I have a nice girlfriend, which I have been dating for ages. I had four dogs. And I love bicycle. I even use it to go to work (well, not every day though)
I love music so much. I don’t intend to stick to one genre though; I love a variety of music, from Disney Classics to Zeppelin, all the way to Mastodon. You name it, if it fits in my ear, I would love it. I just trust my ears; I don’t rely with trends and all that.
