Powerbook Problem
December 22, 2006
I have had this annoying problem with my Powerbook. Yes, this 12’ Powerbook has problems too. For a couple of month, I was satisfied with until I brought it when I went to the road show. It’s rather heavy when I carry it in the backpack. It makes my back hurts for a while. Well, it’s probably not a traveling type notebook.
Another problem that still arises occasionally was the battery-charging problem. When it’s below 60% of charge, then it will go slowly (I’m talking about 1% increase per 6 hours of charging) increasing.
But that’s not it, to make the matter worse, I got this random glitch, sometimes when in unplug the cable, the notebook will just shut down as if it wasn’t powered up by the battery. When I plug the cable again and turn it on again, the battery bar will show me 0% of charge. Dang! Then I have to charge it all over again, with the fact that it will charge 1% in every 6 hours or so, then I need almost a month to full charge it.
Well last night, the same thing happen, the battery bars shows a fully charged battery (100%). Then I unplugged and voila! It goes blank. Luckily, when I turn it on again, the bar still shows a 100% charged battery. The problem solved when I remove the battery and put it back in. Still, these kinds of things were very annoying.
Anyone has the same problem?

- # - And so begin the brick wars! On the axis side, it's Steve Jobs and its Apple. The Allied side consists of peoples who unlocked their iPhone. But nooo, they're not the only ones. According to Scoble, some regular iPhone user has the same problem too after the update that Apple released. It's getting hotter now. :) - #
