CHIP Tech Talk
June 4, 2007
This morning I have the chance to do a radio talk in Sonora FM. The magazine in which I work for had an agreement with Sonora Radio to make a weekly technology discussions called Tech Talk (yeah I know the title sounds a bit cliché). In the show, CHIP and one guest expert would talk about various topics in regards to information technology with a Sonora announcer as the host. The show is scheduled weekly every Monday morning on 9.00 AM till 10.00 AM WIB.
I’ve been appointed as the first speaker in today’s Tech Talk soft launch. Considering that I’m not an IT expert (the only things that I can speak fluently is topics on Linux or blogging), therefore I only discuss the general IT stuff. But it was fun. Though in the beginning I had some nervous breakdown knowing that Sonora is a bit conservative radio where you should choose words and tone carefully. However, what happened were the opposite of that. The atmosphere of the discussion was very warmth and friendly, full with jokes and laughs, no signs of tightness at all.
The enthusiasm for the show was astonishingly good. I can see it from the dozens of text message that coming to Sonora, congratulating and wishing good hopes for the shows. Some of them even do a discussion via phone. From this, I can say that people are eager to learn about the vast world of information technology.
Okay, it’s good for starter, but I hope I’m not assign to this talk show every week, I have to lift my gut every time I do a live radio cast. It’s very tiring.

- # - And so begin the brick wars! On the axis side, it's Steve Jobs and its Apple. The Allied side consists of peoples who unlocked their iPhone. But nooo, they're not the only ones. According to Scoble, some regular iPhone user has the same problem too after the update that Apple released. It's getting hotter now. :) - #
